WANT SOME "RAINDROPS"?

Bassment Jaxx have a new song up on their Myspace and it's AWEsome.

The song, titled "Raindrops is another great up-beat dance track that is gonna set the clubs alight!

DO YOU KNOW YOUR ENEMY?

Green Day are back!

The first single off their upcoming eighth studio "21st Century Breakdown", "Know Your Enemy" is sure to put them back on top of the Rock World!
"Know Your Enemy" picks up where "American Idiot" left off, massive instruments and rock god lyrics that make Armstrong one of the most influential lyricists of our time.
This song is sure to be massive and possibly one of the biggest rock tracks of the Summer, after only a few days it flew into the UK Chart at No.30 and will soar even further towards the peak when the video is released this week.

"21st Century Breakdown" is out May 15th.

KILLERS "DAY & AGE" UPDATE

After laying low off the charts and airwaves as of late, the Killers are back with not one but TWO new singles off their latest album; "Day & Age".

In the United States, New Zealand & Australia, the third single to be served to radio will be "A Dustland Fairytale", also out in May.
This is a real standout of "D&A" and it is simply one of their best yet. It is epic and has anthem written all over it! Flowers really is a lyrical genius!

To the UK & Europe, "The World We Live In" will be released in May as the official third single.
This is a very "D&A" song, and isn't instantly likable but with a few listens it grows on you. Will be great for Summer.

ASHLEY TISDALE: UNEXPECTED?

Former Disney Darling Ashley Tisdale is quickly becoming one of musics "artists to watch".

Having already launched into a semi-successful music career between HSM filth films 2&3, Tisdale looks set to give Kelly Clarkson a run for her money as Queen of Pop/Rock.

Tisdale's latest offering the break-up anthem "It's Alright, It's Ok" is heating the internet and looks set to be a contender on the charts. The song has a definite similarity to it (a la "Since You've Been Gone") yet is refreshing and will have you hooked after just one listen. She's not changing the face of Pop music, but we'll leave that up to the Gaga.

Score: 8/10

GOSSIP GIRL SPIN-OFF; "VALLEY GIRL"

Hit CW teen drama "Gossip Girl is set to have a spin-off come May 11th.

On the May 11th episode of GG, the spinoff will come to life in a "backdoor pilot" before (with all things going well) the show currently titled "Valley Girl" beginning in September.

The show stars Brittany Snow as Lily Rhodes in the Los Angeles of 25 years ago. The series will follow Lily with her sister Carol living in Los Angeles in the 1980s.

An interesting rumor is that "If the show is picked up for a series order, creator Josh Schwartz wants to include characters from The O.C., Kirsten Cohen (nee Nichol in this series)and Jimmy Cooper in their teenage years as well.

Hey, at least it's not another 90210 remake!

REVIEW: I'M NOT ALONE

Dance Anthem of (Northen) Spring 2009!

Scottish hero Calvin Harris is back, with his biggest and best track to date!

"I'm Not Alone" is an EPIC track. Of all proportions. The song ranges in emotion, with an eerie Harris laying down some philosophical lyrics before blasting into a Dance/Trance segment that is both chilling and amazing. Harris has a great feel for both what people want and what people don't expect. This track is sure to go down as the Spring Dance anthem of '09!

Score: 8.5/10

ARIA MUSIC CHART

Here are the numbers for the official Australian Music Charts;

NO DISCO STICK RIDING FOR UK

The offical fourth release from Lady Gaga, "Love Game" will not make it's way to England as expected.

The single which is causing a stir amongst censors in Australia, is in trouble of being deemed "too rude" in the UK, and is at risk of being radio-altered.
The lyric in trouble which include “I want to take a ride on your disco stick” — got the video banned in Australia last week.

Instead UK fans will be served "Paparazzi" instead. A third time atop the UK Charts? Maybe.

VIDEO: BOOM BOOM POW

It's alright but not exactly "revolutionary".
Score: 7/10
